About Osaka Christian College(OCC)
The governing body of our school, Osaka Christian Gakuin, has a history of more than 110 years and has been contributing to the field of education in Abeno Ward, one of the core wards in Osaka. Our college’s Department of Early Childhood Education has earned deep trust for training kindergarten and nursery school teachers. The local community and broader society have highly regarded us, and our graduates have played essential roles in various fields. As a new challenge, we have newly established “Preparatory Japanese Language Course (Nihongo Bekka),” “Nursing Care Course Bekka,” and “EdTech Course, DX Global Class” to focus on ICT education and globalization. We aim to contribute to globalization by accepting many international students and developing human resources in the ICT and healthcare fields.

This course aims to provide preparatory education for international students who wish to enroll in Osaka Christian College. Students will learn the Japanese language and culture, Japanese affairs, and related subjects to acquire the necessary skills for their academic success and are supported to enter Osaka Christian College after completing the course.

EdTech course has a curriculum that enables students to acquire ICT technology and DX knowledge. DX Global class is a unique course for the students in the EdTech course, where students are divided into classes to understand ICT technology and DX to obtain a national certificate. In addition, this course aims to help them find employment in Japanese ITC companies and related industries.

In this course, students learn the fundamentals of nursing care and life support skills to obtain the national qualification of care workers.
Obtaining the national qualification will enable students to find employment in nursing homes, care facilities for the elderly, group homes, etc. Care workers are vital resources and are expected to play active roles in today's society.

Offering free part-time job placement service to international students. They will acquire practical Japanese language skills through the work.
Permitted working hours for international students: 28 hours per week at maximum—up to 8 hours per day during extended school vacations.If you wish to work in japan after graduation, job placement support is also available.
